Joel is Getting on Patreon…Come Along for the Ride!

This post really is more of an announcement than an actual post…

I want to announce that I’ve started a Patreon Page and I’d love for you to check it out and consider being my patron and help me finish my goals of writing Old and New Testament books and curriculum. Ever since the time I started my teaching career back at Fremont Christian (1997-2001) and up through my time at Shoals Christian (2007-2015) I was always developing my own Bible curriculum from scratch. I have always wanted to complete all that work I did over the years and create two stand alone books (Old Testament Introduction and New Testament Introduction) in which I take all the good academic stuff I learned at the graduate school level and make it available to anyone who wants to learn more about Biblical Studies but who will never take college level courses.

In any case, I’d love for you take a look at my Patreon page and read a fuller description of what I want to do. I’ve also uploaded a 12-minute video where I tell you more about the projects I want to write and get published, how you can help me in the process of doing just that, and the benefits you will receive if you choose to sign up and be a patron. Follow the link here and check it out!

If you choose to become a patron, just hit the “Become a Patron” button on the right hand side–right below the picture of my New Testament translation, and basically “northeast” at 1 o’clock from where my video is.

Thanks!

  1. After I logged into Patreon, it was difficult to get back to you to actually make a contribution. What did I miss?

    1. I don’t believe you have to log on…you can just hit the “Become a Patron” button on the right hand side (just below where the picture of my New Testament translation is).
